I managed to put this bike together on my own in under an hour. There was a bit of head scratching when it came to hooking up the cables for the bike computer but, using common sense as much as the instructions, it worked out fine.
The bike is really quite compact and relatively light. I can stash it in the corner of the room when I'm not using it, and it doesn't feel like a major chore to pull it out when it's time to do some exercise.
It's easy to adjust the resistance, the computer is clear, and it's almost silent when you're pedalling.
A couple of minor issues: as the resistance increases, there's a slight loss in the smoothness of the rotation of the pedals. This seems to sort itself out after a while. The other thing is the saddle - after about 20 mins it's not that comfy any more!
For the money, this is excellent value: easy to assemble, mostly smooth when you're pedalling, lightweight and almost silent. It was also delivered really quickly.
For the price this is a fairly good value and sturdy unit. It would be ideal for what it was bought for: gently spinning away a few calories in front of the TV, which would otherwise be spent on the couch.
Allows me to exercise to whatever level of effort I desire, tells me how far I've cycled, my heartbeat which is important and how many calories I've burned off with exercise, reasonably comfortable too. It's part of my exercise regime !!!
Brilliant bike! I'm 67 , trying to keep fit and healthy, still going on long walks daily, now if weather is to bad just jump on the bike and pedal away for a good half hour session couple of times a day.
